First Days of School

I say the "first days" of school because these pictures were not taken on the same day.  George's first day was a couple of weeks ago and Weezie's first day was today.  They both love school and don't seem to have any hesitation about going.  Can you believe there is another Weezie in Weezie's class?  I thought the teacher was joking!!!!  The other little girl's name is Lily.  I always thought she would never have to be called by her last name!  George is happy every day after school.  He has started soccer and can't wait for his first game.  I'll try to be better about updating! Our AC was out for a week, so I am behind on Back to School stuff!  Love to all!!!

Red Door

I know I still need to clean the door and I should have planted ferns, but the red looks so much better!  The theme of the project was, "Go red or go home."  I think it will be one of those things that either people will love it or hate it.  Oh, the best part is I replaced the hardware and the doorknob doesn't fall off anymore!  Ok, Weezie is in my lap and I can't see what I am typing.

July 4th

We had a great July 4th!  It started with our neighborhood parade.  Who knew we had so many kids in the neighborhood!!!  We then went to Papa and Joyce's for BBQ.  We don't have pictures, but Diana and Lauren were nice enough to go with me to take the kids to the fireworks.  Jacob had to leave for a trip.  It was a great day!

Louise's 2nd Birthday Party

We had such a fun time.  Joycey and Papa came all the way from Memphis to be there for Weezie's birthday party.  YaYa Karen and Uncle Ronald were able to stay a few extra day and were also there for the party.  It was a flamingo theme.  Our sitter, Becky, works at a cupcake shop in Pensacola and provided delicious cupcakes for the party.  She even delivered them for us.  Becky is the best!  Anyway, the party was perfect.  We started about four.  Louise had a cupcake and then opened her peresents.  She asked to go to bed at 6.  It was a big day!  Our family is suffering from major beach withdrawls.  I just want to be able to go to Sailor's Grill for breakfast!!
