Washington Parish Fair

I am so very behind on my blogging. This is from our October trip to Louisiana. George really loved the fair. The parade was so much fun. Sarah was great with George and they loved playing with the baby chicks. George even got to ride a few rides with his cousin, Kristen. We also were able to spend a few hours in Baton Rouge. It was so good to see everyone there. George loved playing on the football field and getting to see Cole! The pictures are not in order. I'll do better next time.

Well, we are all watching hurricane Gustav closely. My grandmother, my Aunt Faith, and cousins Hope, Frazier and Sarah are safely at Mom and Dad's. The Baton Rouge folks stayed in LA and are doing fine so far.

Sarah and I took George to the zoo today. We had fun. A giraffe was born on Friday. He was so cute. We also saw the pandas. George was most impressed with the merry-go-round and photo booths.
