First Day of School and Gigi's Dress

George had his first day of school on Monday. He really seemed to like his teachers, Miss Waller and Miss Liz. He will go to school three days a week this year. He is getting so big.

The dress that Louise is wearing was smocked by Gigi. She went to church for the first time on Sunday. She wore her dress and looked beautiful. Oh, and she was an angel during the service.

Quilt

This picture does not do it justice, but this is the quilt that Aunt Judy made for Louise. It is amazing. She even thought to put things on the quilt to remind us of my two grandmothers. There are hummingbirds for Gran and a butterfly for Meme. Unbelievable!

Aunt Judy, Courtney,and Ange came to visit

Ok, I know none of these pictures actually prove that they were here, but I promise they were. I am falling into my old habit of forgetting to document. The yellow outfit was made by Aunt Judy and Courtney. Louise looked so cute at her first BBQ dinner at the Commissary. The other pics are just ones that I thought were cute. George is really into brushing his teeth right now. He does not always do it naked, but I thought that was so funny!

Wait until I post the pictures of Louise's quilt that Aunt Judy made. It is amazing! I'll have to do that tomorrow. I am swamped in laundry.

Louise wears pants

It may not seem like a big deal to most of you, but my baby has worn a gown or a dress everyday for more than six weeks. I finally broke down and let her wear pants. I will admit it was easier to get her in the carseat. I also put her in some footie PJs. She did look really cute!

Dress Made by Gigi

Gigi made this dress for Louise. We had her picture taken in it this week. Wait until you see the pictures of George and Louise. I think they are going to be beautiful.

I hope this is just the beginning of many beautiful dresses made my Gigi.

Louise Meets the Ya Yas

Well, Louise has her first cocktail hour with the YaYas! She enjoyed it very much. Louise even wore her bathing suit for the first time! She is crying in these pictures, but don't be fooled. Louise was just pouting because she couldn't have a martini!!

Summer Fun

We are having a fun summer. Louise is changing so quickly. For those who thought she would never open her eyes, these pictures are for you.

George has new friends that live across the street. He participated in the neighborhood July 4th parade and had a blast. Later that night we took him to see the fireworks and he was not impressed! We ended up throwing glow sticks down the hill and letting him go and collect them.
